We’re actively seeking dedicated individuals for the following roles:
2.1 Advocacy Officer
- Location: Cape Town, South Africa
- Type: Full-time
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement human rights campaigns.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and government officials.
- Represent HumanRights.org.za at events and conferences.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in advocacy or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
2.2 Content Writer
- Location: Remote
- Type: Part-time
- Responsibilities:
- Write articles, blog posts, and newsletters on human rights issues.
- Ensure content aligns with our mission and values.
- Collaborate with the communications team to generate impactful stories.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or English.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Familiarity with global human rights topics is a plus.
2.3 Volunteer Coordinator
- Location: Cape Town, South Africa
- Type: Full-time
- Responsibilities:
- Recruit and manage volunteers for events and campaigns.
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to volunteers.
- Evaluate and report on volunteer program effectiveness.
- Qualifications:
- Experience in volunteer management or HR.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Passion for humanitarian work.
